Heute, am 21. Januar, ist in Polen der sogenannte Dzień Babci (Tag der Großmutter), den ich aus der deutschen Tradition her nicht kannte. aber nun seit 7 Jahre mit ihnen feiere. In Bulgarien, Spanien und Brasilien werden die Großmütter am 26 Juli und in Frankreich am ersten Sonntag im März geehrt.
Dieser Tag ist mit dem Muttertag gleichzusetzen und es werden von den Enkelkindern selbstgemachte Karten, Blumen, kleine ideelle Geschenke usw. an die Großmütter übergeben und an sie lieb gedacht.
- Today, on 21 January, is in Poland the so-called Dzień Babci (day of the grandmother), which I didn´t know it from the German tradition. Since 7 years I know and love to celebrate this Grandmothers Day with my grannies . In Bulgaria, Spain and Brazil the grandmothers are honoured on 26 July and in France on first Sunday in March.
This day is to be equated with the Mother´s day and on this day normally spent the grandchildren self-made cards,flowers, small idealistic gifts or time etc. to the grandmothers.
Da ich glücklicherweise noch zwei Omas habe, habe ich mich dieses Jahr entschlossen für jede eine Blumenbrosche zu häkeln, da ich dieses Handwerk auch von ihnen gelernt habe :). Die Broschen (ecru/bordaux) sind in 2 Stufen gehäkelt und wurden mit einer leuchtenden bordaux. roten Perle als Blütenkern sowie roten Pailletten besetzt.
Und heute kombiniere ich es mit einem Designeraufruf der poln. Seite: szuflada (http://szuflada-szuflada.blogspot.com/2012/01/wyzwanie-2-dzien-babci-i-dziadka.html), wobei die Arbeit unter bestimmten Farbtönen ecru, braun, bordeaux-rot und olive gefertigt werden sollte.
- I am happy to have two grannies, and thats why I decided this year to crochet for everyone a flower-brooch, because I learned this hand-craft also from them:). The brooches (in ecru/bordaux) are crochet in 2 levels and are sequined with red pailettes. In the center of the flower is sewed a bright bordaux-red bead.
